Malnutrition is basically a condition of a person due to eating a less nutritional diet on a regular basis. The time period from the birth of a child to the age of 6 years is considered to be very crucial because it is the time when the foundations of emotional development, cognitive development, language and personality are inculcated in a child.

This time period is also known to be vulnerable because even a small deprivation can have a long-lasting impact on a child’s health and potential.

Malnutrition in India haunts the lives of many poor families especially the children present in the families. Around 97 million of children are undernourished.
