Girl Child ​

In many states of India where the birth of a girl child is still not considered as a blessing and rather is considered as a curse. Not just history but even the present is not a great time for birth of a girl Unless we stand for it. Members of VJP and passion inside them to help such girls and saving them from the discrimination makes us sharing the platform for the people who are willing to stand against girl’s discrimination.

Girls are always discriminated whether it is related to education or other opportunities. Right from the day of her birth, a girl faces humiliation and gets stuck at the short end of the stick for her whole life. Some girls who are brave enough to stand out are the ones who become successful l. But not all of the girls are able to take stand for themselves and get exploited in our society.

India is home to almost one-third of ten million child brides in the world. India is the country having the highest number of cases where girls are forced into marriage before the legal age defined by the government, i.e. 18 years. As per the India’s 2011 census, nearly around 53% of households and 11% of schools had no female washrooms. Looking at the above mentioned stats, it doesn’t look like our country is advancing or progressing!
