As an NGO, we work towards making a change for the better. The environment has to be taken and left better than we have received for our future generations. It is our motto to reach out to people with similar aspirations and carry forward the movement that we began years ago. The motivation has come from the fact we lack clean air, polluted water, and contaminated food.
In Bangalore, there is some greenery thanks to citizen’s activism, but as the city grows and more and more people settle here, their cover of greenery may vanish sooner than you think. Our concern gets concentrated on
We work towards reviving semi-wild and cultivated plants and trees so that they don’t go extinct. We make sure that farmers learn to use vermicompost and incorporate growing trees on their farmlands in between crops. Our NGO works to educate how burning fossil fuels, causing a lot of air pollution. We work on planting trees drive throughout the stat. It would be a great learning experience for the kids to learn about climate change, and we go to schools and help the children know the repercussions of the damage already caused due to deforestation and how climate change will affect us. Our job is increased manifold when developmental projects are taken up, the green cover of Bangalore is at stake, and we actively get involved with fellow citizens to save the existing greenery and make people plant more trees and sustain wildlife. The need to let people know our garden city should not let go of its green cover and evaluate other sustainable methods of growth. Being inclusive of nature and wildlife is essential for the ecosystem to be balanced and for us to live in it without facing problems.
